I worked on the intern video today. Now that I have some stuff done I have a much better idea of how much we still need to do. After that I worked on the curriki video for teachers, I’m almost done so that’ll be done by tomorrow.
I was such a busy bee today. When I got in I was immediately put to work as talent in Mark’s video. Then I worked with Rob on the intern video, then I FINALLY FINISHED THE BLOGS VIDEO! WHOOT WHOOT! I finished the curriki video for parents AND started on the one for teachers. I’m a beast.
Today I worked on the curriki tech splained for parents, I’m done except for the intro cause no one could find it. Mike also taught me how to upload to google. So now all I have to do tomorrow is find the intro and then work on the one for teachers.
So…yesterday I worked on the intern video with rob. I also got some camtasia grabs for Amelia’s tech-splained g-mail video and worked on my own curriki tech splained.
From the time I got in today till when I left I worked on the intern video. While robert was here we filmed and when he left I imported the nortel bugs and other graphics.
Today I filmed stuff for the intern video with Robert and Sheng. We got a lot done…yay! We focused on all the scenes we would need Sheng for since he’s not coming back and tomorrow we’ll start on the other stuff.
I feel so good about myself right now. Monday and Tuesday I hardly did anything but today I did and it feels good! whoot whoot! So…I finally located everything I needed to for my blogs video and re-edited it, I’ll have someone look at it when I get back on monday to see if the grabs are still blurry but I hope not! Then Robert and I worked on stuff for the Intern Summer Video. It feels good when I actually do something with my life:)
So I came in thinking I was going to get so much done…that did not happen. I went to save the camtasia grabs for the blog video onto Liz or Amelia’s computer but camtasia will not open on that computer anymore so I had to redo the camtasia grabs. I tried to find my blog video on the computer I did the grabs on so I could finally start the re-editing but that also did not work out so I’ll try again tomorrow when people are here to help me.
After sending Frank the detailed procedure, I received his response on my program. Overall, it was very successful. He is pretty happy that the program worked without a problem. He had some preferences for the interface though. He preferred the time selection to be a spin button instead of a drop down list. The recorded file name might need to be changed. Before it was like -YYYY-mm-DD-HH-MM. I will wait for his choice of the name.
Rob and I also planned the video that we are going to film on Tuesday.
Today I also wrote a Tech’Splained: How to create an e-mail account? After that Rob and I started working on the MCS_Training. Unfortunately, some of the accounts do not allow us to login.
So today I was not very focused at all, I was pretty tired, so it’s a good thing I got the big email project done on Friday. I tried working on the Curriki videos but all I got done was the camtasia grabs. At least thats a start! Now I just have to edit it all, hopefully I can get that done tomorrow.
