Today we had our own little scavenger hunt for the TYCWD tapes. Footage couldnt be found on the computers, nor any finished pieces on it. So now that we have the tapes its my priority to get them digitized and make something of them. I also got in contact with Sarah Conrod, I am now waiting on her to send me the FTP information so I can dump what we already have thats ready to be captioned on there servers.
today i encoded some videos into real and i work on turning the furture forum videos into avi’s so i can get them encoded into real and windows and uploadthem to google.
Today’s my last day. I tied up a few loose ends, including writing out a list of all the videos that are left unfinished. Michael is going to pass this list on to Darrell and Mike as new projects for the school year. I also wrote out everything else that’s not done/half done. I organized the three mobile camera kits in the studio, now they all have 5 cameras each and everything to go along with the cameras.
Good news, the two videos that we submitted for the “Nortel Going Green” contest were very well received at the Nortel end. I spoke with the man in charge of the contest today and he said that they want to use our videos for something other than the contest. Yay! Go us!
Happy Birthday Mary!!!!
Our “Good bye” lunch was today. We had a bunch of mix-ups occur at first, like not all meeting in one place, trying to find directions to Dave and Busters, and then having the power go out at Dave and Busters. We finally decided to go to a restaurant in the Ballston area. It was great but sad at the same time. The people working for Nortel LearniT have been awesome this summer, we truly have a unique team and team atmosphere. Good luck with the school year guys!!

-OLPC timeline would not open (but others will) I think timeline is corrupted
